ZISHI Elite, our tech solution to help traders globally measure their performance and maximise their efficiency, has been voted as “Best New Product” in the Trading and Execution space by readers of Futures and Options World Magazine.

Part biometric app, part wearable tech, ZISHI Elite gives traders the edge in markets by measuring numerous factors underpinning each trader’s unique physiological output. The tech determines optimal Heart Rate Variability (HRV) state as well as data on sleep, mood, anxiety & stress levels. All this information is then analysed in conjunction with the trader’s volume, P&L and level of order activity to find their personalised optimal zone.

After a two-year development phase with a trial group of 30 traders, distinct correlations were found, highlighting that when a trader’s HRV was falling so did volume, P&L, motivation and mood. ZISHI Elite has now been rolled out to over 100 traders across OSTC’s 12 global offices. All traders sign up to the scheme voluntarily.

The product has been developed in partnership with a team of professors, sports psychologists and elite performance analysts from Bangor University – who have worked closely with the England Cricket Board, Team Sky/Ineos and UK Olympic Athletes.

Lee Hodgkinson, CEO of OSTC, commented:

“We are honoured to be the recipients of this award, particularly in the face of such fierce competition. It is a testament to the entrepreneurial mindset of our ZISHI team, the genius of our science partners at Bangor University and the drive and leadership of Chris Jenkins. I’d also like to recognise the important contribution of Ian Firla, who originated the initial concept as part of his work in OSTC’s Innovation Lab.”

Chris Jenkins, Co-Head of ZISHI commented:

“We are delighted with the award. Beyond being a huge honour, it’s also a convincing proof point that the industry continues to endorse our evolving direction and technology creation. I personally want to thank the OSTC traders, office managers and developers for their continued support with the app. They have been fundamental in helping the ZISHI team create such a unique trading tool focusing on self-mastery.”
