We’re thrilled to announce another landmark autumn partnership, this time between ZISHI and Saracens and Ospreys Rugby clubs. Both institutions have elected ZISHI and its core educational arm Cornerstone to provide dual career development and sports transition programme for Senior and Academy players.

The educational programme, which kicks off this month, will be delivered over 10 months in London and South Wales and constitutes a Level 5 advanced diploma in financial trading.

Bridging the world of athletic performance and financial markets, ZISHI is being embraced by a growing number of athletic and sporting associations, as well as individuals looking to upskill or consider a career beyond the sports pitch. For some, it will serve as strategic support for dual-career progression and others, the core foundational from which to make a confident leap into full-time trading.

A double win (pun intended) for clubs and organisations already partnering with ZISHI, the collaboration also helps professional clubs meet their duty of care obligations to players. Meanwhile, candidates will come away with an industry recognised level of learning that has seen previous graduates land roles in anything from portfolio management, risk management and financial analysis. Win, win, win. Isn’t that a hattrick?

Scott Williams, Ospreys Centre & Welsh International commented:

“Forging a second career takes persistence and determination, as well as being equipped with the right qualifications. The ZISHI sports transition programme will be of great assistance in giving players the skills required for a successful life after the game.”
