Chairman of OSTC’s strategy committee, William English, CBE brings proven global strategic, political and media planning and expertise to the board in addition to a 36-year career serving across four continents in the Armed Forces. Having worked at senior levels in cross-government policy development, as well as strategic and operational delivery, William also brings considerable experience working within multi-national organisations, including NATO, the European Union and the United Nations.
William is a Chartered Director and Fellow with the Institute of Directors (CDir & FIoD); a Chartered Manager (CMgr) and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI); a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS) and Master of Science (MSc) in Defence and Strategic Studies. When asked why he wanted to join OSTC’s board, he said:
