This week saw CEO Lee Hodgkinson and Chief Creative Marketing Officer Trefor Thomas ring the bell at the Singapore Exchange (SGX). The reason for their visit? To celebrate a prestigious collaboration with the SGX and Asia’s first official employer-led accredited trading programme. Kicking off in 2020 (subject to regulatory approvals) the immersive course be delivered over 5-weeks full-time in Singapore and repeated throughout the year. Participants will get to experience our signature hands-on experiential deep dive into the global derivatives markets and a world of immersive knowledge provided by ZISHI Cornerstone.
We’re thrilled to announce another landmark autumn partnership, this time between ZISHI and Saracens and Ospreys Rugby clubs. Both institutions have elected ZISHI and its core educational arm Cornerstone to provide dual career development and sports transition programme for Senior and Academy players. The educational programme, which kicks off this month, will be delivered over 10 months in London and South Wales and constitutes a Level 5 advanced diploma in financial trading.
It’s been a wonderful year of ambitious new finance and educational partnerships for our central knowledge suite ZISHI. Adopted by a series of large exchanges and financial institutions across the Asian continent and elsewhere worldwide for its comprehensive educational offering, we’re excited to announce our latest collaboration is with China’s Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE). The fourth prestigious Chinese exchange to select ZISHI’s world-class learning tools and trading technologies, Dalian and ZISHI have devised a unique educational programme for its top ten high ranking officials to be rolled out September 2019. These individuals will be guided through a two-week, hands-on immersion into trading and market-making courtesy of ZISHI’s educational platform, Cornerstone. The intention of supporting the development, management and growth of Dalian going forward.
We’re extremely excited to launch ZISHI Elite, our new tech solution to help traders globally measure their performance and maximise their efficiency. Part biometric app, part wearable tech, ZISHI Elite gives traders the edge in markets by measuring numerous factors underpinning each trader’s unique physiological output. The tech determines optimal Heart Rate Variability (HRV) state as well as data on sleep, mood, anxiety & stress levels. This information is then analysed in conjunction with the trader’s volume, P&L and level of order activity to find their personalised optimal zone.
This autumn, we’re excited to announce the arrival of Nigel Holt as our new Head of Internal Audit. Nigel will join OSTC Group from the 1st October 2019 and brings with him over 30-years’ worth of senior experience across audits, risk, internal control and corporate governance to our growing global network. Prior to this, Nigel worked with Colas UK Ltd and has held previous senior audit roles at a range of corporations, including Friends Life, Partnership Assurance, the UK Debt Management Office and the London Stock Exchange.
Another great announcement for ZISHI: we’ve partnered with the prestigious Northern Irish South Eastern Regional College (SERC) to offer a vocational new Level 5 Financial trading diploma. The training will be delivered with the help of our new digital learning suite ZISHI and offers students a comprehensive foundation from which to launch a career in the financial services sector.

We’re pleased to announce that ZISHI has been selected to provide key education and expertise on options markets by the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE). As one of China’s four main regulated futures markets, the education agreement with the ZCE is the third to be signed with China. Currently, the Chinese Futures Association and Shanghai Futures Exchange are already clients.

Trefor, or Tom as he prefers to be known, boasts over two decades of international creative and marketing experience. He joins the OSTC Group to drive our creative, marketing and innovation direction across all OSTC and ZISHI brands. Previously at LIDA, the loyalty agency and SapientNitro for two and a half years as Executive Creative Director, he was responsible for its multi-channel campaigns for clients including SKY, TUI and Harley Davidson.
