Junior traders are mentored and encouraged to gain real market experience as soon as they can.

At OSTC we believe there is no substitute for the real thing. We encourage new recruits to “trade live” on real markets as early as possible. You will be trained in the OSTC bespoke market trading methodology and mentored by senior traders.

At this point trading is more for feel and experience as opposed to making significant profits, so we keep risk parameters tight. In order to maintain confidence and encourage learning, the salary element relieves the burden of the need for immediate profits at this early stage.
